My idea was just one ball with a points system. Could either do 'most points in a set time' or 'first to x points'. When a goal is scored, I was imagining someone being nice and bringing the ball back to centre as the teams reset. Or maybe the team 'kick off' from their spawn? I'm not sure what would work best. Might be good to have one athletic victi... erm, volunteer... to act like a ref and follow the ball around? They could track scores and reset the ball.

Fair point about there always being someone at spawn. Hadn't thought about that. I figured that if players got eliminated, the game would be too similar to other game types. Maybe the goal could be a point away from spawn? Say, spawn in one corner and that team's goal in the adjacent corner. Or maybe use two buildings as goals? Get the ball in through the door/window to score. The multi-ball idea's good, but would require purchasing and transporting a large quantity of materials, I think. Definitely a workable option, though.

Re: Le Mans Pistols I agree. Having everyone run into the centre would probably result in collisions and a point-blank shootout. Having people run away from each other to collect weapons would create a little working space. Either way might be chaos with 30+ players, so maybe this could be implemented as a quick end-of-day whoever-wants-to-play game? Re: Finder Keepers Yes, my biggest concern with this is losing pistols, so it's probably best played in a CQB/hard-surface environment. It's also why I specified people going back to their start position to make sure everything gets collected. Re: Double Trouble Both versions sound fun. Maybe yours could be called "Two guys one gun"? 😁 How would you deal with hits - a hit on either player eliminates the pair or count hits separately? In my version, one player getting hit effectively halves the firepower of the pair, making life just that bit more difficult.

I was thinking the tally would reflect the game/player state at the end of play only (kind of simulating the end of the fed's operation). People would come in and think: "I was alive at the end of game..." so tick that box. "I was apphrended/injured at the end of game..." so tick that box. "I had some coke at the end of game..." so tick that box. Players could tick one or two boxes. If they were alive and had coke, they'd tick both boxes.

I was imagining some kind of tally sheet in the safe zone which people mark off when they leave the game. If you come in alive with a bag of coke, check both boxes, etc. Maybe we can simplify things by removing deaths? Shot cartel are deemed 'immobilised' (feds are using less-lethal ammo) and shot feds are 'injured' (need medical attention). Either can be revived by physical contact from their own team. Immobilised and injured players remain where they are until rescue. A further simplification would be to get rid of the coke 'safe point'. Both teams have to retain the coke on their persons until end of game. Still some strategy involved: do you dump it all on one player and protect them or spread it around to make it harder to obtain?
