Introducing Ares Alpha. An app we got to try yesterday at Sabage Paradise.
I had not heard of this app before until it was introduced at the venue. The game modes they used to incorporate Ares ATB devices and addons really added a new level of immersion to gameplay and was utilised perfectly at their field.
Ares Alpha is a dedicated mobile application designed to augment the airsoft gaming experience, offering a range of features tailored to both beginners and seasoned players. Developed by Ares Airsoft, the app serves as a multifunctional tool to assist players on and off the field.
Key Features:
Digital Scorekeeping: Ares Alpha excels in its digital scorekeeping capabilities. It allows players to seamlessly keep track of individual and team scores, eliminating the need for manual scorecards. The intuitive interface makes it easy to input and update scores in real-time, providing a dynamic and engaging way to monitor game progress.
Loadout Management: One of the standout features is the Loadout Management functionality. Users can create and save personalized loadouts within the app, including details such as weapon configurations, gear, and accessories. This feature aids in quick reference and helps players ensure they are well-equipped for different scenarios.
Team Communication: Ares Alpha facilitates effective team communication through its built-in chat and messaging system. Players can coordinate strategies, share updates and maintain communication during gameplay. This real-time communication feature adds a layer of coordination that is crucial in tactical airsoft scenarios.
Event Coordination: The app provides a platform for event coordination and scheduling. Players can browse and join upcoming airsoft events, view details, and even RSVP. This feature fosters a sense of community within the airsoft world and helps players stay informed about local games, tournaments and meetups.
Training Resources: Ares Alpha goes beyond gameplay by offering training resources. Video tutorials, guides, and tips for improving your airsoft skills are readily available, catering to players looking to enhance their proficiency and strategy.
User-Friendly Interface: The app boasts an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making navigation seamless for users of all levels. The well-organized menu system ensures that players can quickly access the features they need without unnecessary complexity.
Ares Alpha emerges as a game-changer in the realm of airsoft mobile applications. Its versatile features, from scorekeeping to loadout management and event coordination, demonstrate a thoughtful approach to enhancing the airsoft community's gaming experience. Whether you're a casual player or a dedicated enthusiast, Ares Alpha brings a valuable set of tools to your fingertips, making it a must-have companion for any airsoft aficionado.
Game masters can set the zone for the game area as well as adding things like points of interest, start zones, detailed objectives and create QR codes to put in the field that players using the app can scan to gain points or items to use. One such game mode would be ‘Gold Rush’, where players must scan a single-use QR code to earn points for their team.
If they find the QR code for a UAV, they can request air support to reveal enemy positions. For example, the yellow team has activated the UAV and can thus see the red team positions. The red team can find an EMP to then counter and ‘shut down’ the map system for the other team.
This app will add a much deeper level of gameplay and immersion into a light MilSim style of gameplay.
Download it today so we can try it on February 18th at our charter game, Survival Game Field No.9 Ridley Field.
Once you have the app you can join the game on the day via QR code. We intend to use the app for game masters to monitor game progress as well as to give players information. For some games this app will be essential to enhance the gaming experience for everyone.
We will also have a laptop in the safety area for the game master to use and eliminated players to watch and see what is happening.
I have used this app and its really immersive.
Just make sure you have a good phone protector.
Cool going to give this a try!
