Hello, all!
My name's Ed, I'm a brit who's been living in Kashiwa, Chiba for NOT VERY LONG (4 months), but have been determined to continue my airsoft hobbies over to Chiba! Been playing airsoft in the UK for about 3 years, so don't count me as any sort of expert! Outside of English teaching, I'm a novelist / fiction writer of sorts, doing my best to not make a living out of it.
Currently, in Japan, I've copped myself an S&T PPSh-41 for the style points, and should hopefully get a second one down the line for safe keepings. Back in the UK, I ran a CYMA AK-74S and MP5A4!
Honestly very nervous about hopping back into the sport in a new country! Hoping to play monthly within Chiba once everything gets started again after the summer!
Looking forward to seeing you all in October!
Hello, fellow Brit and English teacher! Which part of our sceptred isle do you come from? I played back home for a few years many moons ago in 2002-ish. Took a looooong break and got back into the game through AOJ earlier this year.
Looking forward to meeting you in October (I'm only there Sunday)!
Dave
Welcome Ed! Looking forward to meet you in October!
Welcome!
I’m not that knowledgeable regarding airsoft, but I help out coordinating events and translating in AOJ.
Looking forward to see you at the fields 😊
Welcome Ed.
I saw you registered for October and doing both days! Kudos for the commitment!
We usually do monthly games around the last weekend of the month. But summer is far too hot and we don’t really do indoor fields.
I never played airsoft in the UK when I was there as I only got into it in the thirties. But the community in Japan is pretty relaxed and our community is much more relaxed and social.
I’ll look forward to meeting you in October.
